Mr. Ashish Walia stands as a pillar of leadership within Egypt’s Indian diaspora, currently serving as the Chairman of the Indian Community Association in Egypt (ICAE) for over a decade. Under his guidance, ICAE has grown into a dynamic platform that promotes culture, education, sports, and unity among the Indian and Egyptian communities alike.
Alongside his social leadership, Mr. Walia is also the Chairman of Cricket Community Egypt (CCE) — a passionate initiative aimed at scaling cricket in Egypt from grassroots to national and international recognition. With his prior successful experiences in building community institutions, he now envisions a structured and vibrant cricketing ecosystem in Egypt that creates opportunities for youth and fosters international collaboration.
Professionally, he is the Managing Director, Mecwear Group, where he has demonstrated over 25 years of strategic and operational excellence in international business leadership.

As the President of Cricket Community Egypt, he plays a pivotal role in organizing cricket activities, fostering youth engagement, and building a structured platform for players across the nation.
He also serves as the President of the ICAE Sports Federation, operating under the wider Indian Community Association Egypt (ICAE). Under his leadership, both cricket and multi-sport activities have seen significant growth, uniting diverse communities and creating opportunities for athletes at grassroots and competitive levels.
With a vision for excellence and inclusion, Mr. Shujauddin is helping redefine the future of sports in Egypt.


He is also known for his calm demeanor and strategic thinking, Mr. Shujauddin Shabbir brings a wealth of organizational insight to Cricket Community Egypt. An enthusiastic leader with unmatched energy, Mr. Mohammad Arshad Raza is the driving force behind many of Egypt’s premier cricket tournaments and groundbreaking innovations . As a central figure in the operational core of Cricket Community Egypt, he expertly manages tournament execution, team coordination, and the digital media presence — ensuring the organization remains modern, inclusive, and connected with fans, players, and partners.
Driven by purpose, Mr. Arshad’s ultimate goal is to promote cricket among Egyptian youth and position Egypt on the international cricket map. His vision includes securing ICC affiliation and membership with the African Cricket Association, aligning Egypt with global cricketing standards.
Thanks to his leadership, Egypt has witnessed rapid cricketing growth — most notably through the successful organization of the nation’s biggest tournament, the Egyptian Premier Cricket League (EPCL). His digital campaigns have significantly amplified the sport’s visibility, generating excitement, unity, and participation across communities.
